Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago February 1, 2015

About two inches of snow fell on Saturday, then colder air moved in on Saturday night following the storm and now temperatures on Sunday morning are chilly with the summit reporting 7 degrees. Dress warmer today than you have been as readings will only make it into the low 20s.

After a dry and sunny day on Sunday, snow will fall from Sunday night through Thursday. It will not snow heavily during this entire time but rather there should be periods of lighter or no snow and some periods of heavier snow. The best chance for heavier snow is Sunday night through midday Monday, Monday night through Tuesday morning, and then Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. I'm only forecasting a few inches of snow accumulation each day and night through Thursday, but over time this snow could add up. Watch out for Wednesday as a potential powder day. Following this series of storms, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be sunny and dry, then light snow could return to Copper on Saturday night and again next Tuesday, February 10th.
