Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago February 4, 2015

One inch of snow fell between about midnight and 5am, and another inch has accumulated between 5am and 7am after the morning snow report. My forecast today is for 4-7 inches, though Copper will be right on the edge of the storm track so if the jet stream shifts north or south just a bit, those numbers could change (likely higher rather than lower). I hope you're going to enjoy the day on the slopes as today's snow will improve the already fun conditions of the last two days, and there is no additional powder in the forecast for the rest of the week, so you might as well take advantage of today!

Looking ahead, our next chance of snow will be from Saturday night through Sunday evening. This storm is now looking a bit stronger than previous forecasts, so keep an eye on Sunday as there might be at least a few inches of fresh snow.
