Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago February 12, 2015
I have some good news to share this morning. It looks like next week will be the beginning of our long-awaited pattern shift, so there are better prospects of cold air and snow in our future.
In the mean time, look for partly to mostly cloudy skies on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. These will be mid and high-level clouds, so I'm not expecting any snowfall. Also during these days, temperatures will warm a few degrees with highs in the 30s and low 40s. I put some snow in the forecast starting on Sunday, but the best chance for meaningful snow will be on Monday, President's Day. Then it'll be much colder on Tuesday and Wednesday, though the heaviest snow during these days should fall to the south and east of Copper. Later next week, we might get clipped by a few storms from the north, and then another significant storm is possible around Saturday 2/21. Overall, I can't promise big powder days next week, but a change in the weather pattern is good news as our chances for snow and cold air increase!
