Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago February 11, 2015
The snow report shows a fresh two inches as of Wednesday morning. One of those inches fell on Tuesday morning during a quick burst of snow and another inch fell on Tuesday night as another narrow snow band moved along the I-70 corridor. Skiing conditions should be fun this morning with cooler temperatures (19F at the summit as of 7am) and the new snow.
Looking ahead, the weather will be dry, sunny, and warming by the day as we move from Wednesday through Saturday. Then, I have good news, as a series of storms will likely bring snow to Copper starting around Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening and continuing through Wednesday. It's still too early to be able to forecast snowfall amounts or when the heaviest snow will fall, but it's great to see the prospects for consistent snow back in the forecast. Stay tuned for updates!
