Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago February 10, 2015
There is a narrow band of heavy snow moving through northern Colorado on Tuesday morning and this should hit Copper between about 8am and noon. Look for 1-3 inches in a short period of time, which should put a nice coating of fresh on the mountain. The snow will decrease to flurries and partly sunny skies Tuesday afternoon, though there could be a brief yet intense snow shower or two during the afternoon.
Then from Wednesday through Sunday look for sunny and dry skies with high temperatures increasing into the upper 30s and low 40s. For next week, the outlook is promising as Copper might be clipped by a series of storms on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, and then there could be another storm for later in the week. It's too early to get super excited about the prospects for snow next week, but at least there is some action to speak about on the horizon. In the mean time, enjoy the sun and comfortable temperatures, and check back daily for updates on next week's forecast.
