Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 10 years ago February 9, 2015
Monday will be another warm and sunny day with highs in the 40s. I love powder, but hey, it's hard to beat a little spring skiing in February. Then clouds will increase on Monday evening, and we'll see a period of snow during the first half of Tuesday. I'm forecasting 1-3 inches on Tuesday morning as a band of snow should move from northern Colorado to central Colorado during the day, and will spend some time over Copper between about sunrise and noon on Tuesday AM. These snow bands are tricky to forecast, so keep your eye on the webcams and look for my next update on Tuesday morning.
There could be lingering flurries on Tuesday night into Wednesday, but I am not expecting any additional snow accumulation. Then Thursday through Sunday will be dry, sunny, and warm. The weather forecast will be more interesting next week, starting around Monday, February 16th. Snow will be possible throughout all of next week, and it is nice to see this possibility for some action in the long-range forecast rather than another week of high pressure!
