Posting Schedule

I am traveling to ski with my family through February 2. In an attempt to spend as much time with them (and sleeping, too!), my posts will be shorter and more to the point than normal. Also, I will write on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule during periods with drier weather. Finally, at the bottom of each post, I will always mention when to expect the next post. Thanks for your understanding and your support!

Friday

Friday will be partly cloudy with a high temperature of about 20°F.

Next Storms

On Friday night and Saturday morning, a storm will bring a period of snow which should amount to 1-4 inches. This means that there should be some powder on Saturday morning. However, the bigger story will be the cold air as Saturday and Sunday's high temperatures will stay in the single digits above/below zero.

On Monday, another storm will bring just light snow and a reinforcing push of cold air. The high temperature on Monday may stay below 0°F.

From Tuesday through Saturday, temperatures will warm somewhat with a high in the teens, though Thursday may be the exception as a nearby storm could cool temperatures a bit and bring a few flakes as well.

Then between Sunday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 28, another storm will impact Colorado. There is about a 50% chance that this storm will bring mostly cool air and little snow, and there is also about a 50% chance that this storm will pull in moisture from the Pacific Ocean which could lead to significant snow in or near Colorado.
