Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago November 9, 2015
The snow guns are cranking at Copper as overnight temperatures are consistently getting into the teens and 20s. This snowmaking will help the team open up new terrain for Opening Day (this Friday, November 13th). And do you know what else will help produce great conditions for opening day? Fresh snow from the sky above!
Yes, you can tell I am excited for the storm that will drop snow on Copper on Tuesday night, with the heaviest snow starting around 6pm Tuesday and ending around 8am Wednesday, with lighter snow outside of those times. Total storm accumulations should be in the 6-9 inch range, but could push higher if everything comes together perfectly. Check back daily as I’ll update you on this week’s storm and will talk about two storms possible for next week.
