Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Welcome to Wednesday, opening day! And what a treat we have today as it’s not often that you’ll take the first turns of the season in 6 inches of fresh pow! I cannot see the snow stake camera as of 4am on Wednesday, but the mid-mountain SNOTEL site (an automated weather station) shows about 6 inches of new snow, so we’ll go with that number until Copper releases the official snow report.

Snow should continue through mid morning on Wednesday and then the sun will slowly make an appearance by late morning into the afternoon. It’s going to be a perfect opening day! We’ll see dry weather from Thursday through Sunday, and then I expect to see chances for snow next Monday evening and again toward the end of next week. I’ll be writing daily weather updates through the entire season, so check back each day! Enjoy the pow!
