Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Under clear nighttime skies, we’ve had an interesting temperature pattern. By morning, temperatures at mid mountain have been in the mid teens, but it’s been warmer at the summit with temperatures holding around 30 degrees. The takeaway is to dress warm in the morning, but be ready to shed some layers as you get higher up the mountain and as the air warms into the 30s during late morning.

We’ll see this clear-sky pattern continue through the weekend, then our next storm will bring clouds on Monday and the best chance of snow from Monday afternoon through Tuesday. We’ll likely see about a half foot of snow during the Monday night into Tuesday timeframe, and then we should see snow showers continue on Tuesday night through at least Wednesday. The cold air and natural snow next week should help with terrain openings, so keep checking the snow report and download the Sherpa app to stay in the know!
