Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update

As expected, Tuesday morning is a powder day at Copper with 10 inches of snow falling on Monday night on top of the 6 inches that accumulated during the day on Monday. Get out and enjoy the pow! The temperature during the snowfall on Monday night was on the warmer side, so this snow will likely be more dense than we are used to here in Colorado. But that doesn’t change the fact that new snow is fun, so ski it and enjoy!

Tuesday will offer a lull in the intense snowfall though there is still enough moisture in the air to create clouds and times of light-to-moderate snow throughout the day on Tuesday and Tuesday night.

The next wave of intense snow should arrive on Wednesday and Wednesday evening, so the best time to find the deepest snow should be on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.

After this, we could see a mix of sun, clouds, and light snow from Friday through the weekend as a storm slowly cruises to the south of Colorado. Then next week will be mostly dry with the next significant storm possible around January 20-21st.
