Update

The Monday morning snow report shows that 4-5 inches of snow fell on Sunday and another 4-5 inches fell on Sunday night. This is more than I thought would accumulate and about 50% more than nearby ski areas, so Copper is on a lucky streak! The only downside to this new snow is that the temperature is on the warmer side with a reading of 32F at mid-mountain, so the snow will likely be thicker / denser than you are used to for snow here in Colorado. Still, any new snow is good snow, so get out there and enjoy it!

Snow should continue through the day on Monday, and then could become more intense on Monday night into Tuesday morning as colder air moves into northern Colorado and the wind direction changes to blow from the west and west-northwest. This means that Tuesday morning could be a high-quality powder day with fluffier snow on top of denser snow.

There will be a lull in the snow during the day on Tuesday, then we should see additional snow from Tuesday night through Thursday morning, and Thursday could be the next significant powder day.
