Update

We have a temperature inversion at Copper on Wednesday morning. The temperature is cooler at the base (5F) than at the summit (20F). This inversion should equalize by mid-morning and Wednesday should be a sunny day with a high temperature in the low-to-mid 30s. Thursday will also be sunny and dry with similar temperatures to Wednesday.

Clouds will thicken on Thursday night and we should experience periods of light-to-moderate snow from Thursday night through Sunday morning. Each day and night time period could bring a few inches of snow accumulation, and Sunday morning could offer the softest turns and perhaps the deepest totals.

Then after a brief break in the action on Sunday night and Monday morning, snow should return for most of Monday, Tuesday, and perhaps continue through Wednesday morning with an additional 5-10 inches of accumulation. The best powder day could be Tuesday, and stay tuned as this might change.
