Update

Our calculations at OpenSnow show that the snowpack at Copper Mountain is about 138% of average. We had a very slow start to the season in early November, but then is has snowed a LOT in the past two months, and our snowpack is quite healthy. Enjoy the coverage and fantastic conditions!

The weather on Tuesday should offer partly sunny skies with some low clouds lingering in the morning and perhaps through the day. Then Wednesday and Thursday should offer mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures with highs in the mid-to-upper 30s.

Our next chance for snow will start on Thursday night and should continue through Sunday morning. Initially, the wind direction from the southwest will not be favorable for heavy snow, but the wind direction will switch on Saturday night (to blow from the northwest) so there could be more significant powder on Sunday morning.

Then after a brief break on Sunday night and Monday morning, another storm system should bring snow from Monday evening through Wednesday evening, and the deepest powder during this time could be found on Wednesday, January 25th.
