Update

Snow continued to fall on Tuesday with 2-3 inches of accumulation during the day, and another 1-2 inches fell after lifts closed on Tuesday evening, so you should enjoy another morning of soft turns on Wednesday. There will be clouds and flurries in the air on Wednesday morning, but this should give way to mostly sunny skies as temperatures climb into the teens.

Sunny weather will be the rule on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as temperatures warm a few degrees each day, eventually reaching highs in the 30s by Friday and Saturday.

Our next chance for snow will occur on Sunday and Monday as a storm to our north and west drops into northern Colorado. Right now there is zero agreement among the forecast models as some show just a few flurries and others shows 6-12 inches with a powder day on Monday. We’ll need to wait and see how this plays out – my estimate is a few inches of snow resulting in a nice refresh of the groomers on Monday.

Following that system, the sun will return during the middle of next week with light snow possible around March 9-10.
