Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 7 years ago December 2, 2017
Update
Saturday will be a partly-to-mostly sunny day with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Sunday will be about the same as Saturday, then we'll see a few snow showers on Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday night, expect a few hours of intense snow as a cold front pushes through, and then snow showers should last on-and-off through the day on Monday. If you want to ski fresh snow, Monday is your day. Expect 3-6 inches and dress warmly as high temperatures will be in the teens.
Next Tuesday through Friday will be dry and cold, with temperatures low enough for snowmaking to potentially go on 24/7. This might lead to additional terrain opening.
Unfortunately, it appears that the weather pattern will stay dry through at least December 12th and likely longer. I will let you know when I see the possibility of our next major snowstorm.
Stay tuned for daily updates, and thanks for reading!
