Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 7 years ago December 31, 2017
Update
On Saturday night, we saw a few flakes, but the slightly more consistent snow stayed about 30-50 miles to our northeast, so the official snow report shows zero snowfall on Sunday morning. Sometimes we get lucky (like the snow on Christmas Day), and sometimes the storms track a little too far away.
On Sunday, in the wake of the weak system on Saturday night, expect temperatures to be 10-15 degrees cooler compared to Saturday with highs in the 20s. Then we’ll see highs in the 30s for the rest of the week with partly-to-mostly sunny skies.
Our next chances for snow will be between Saturday night and Monday morning (January 6-8) and again with a storm sometime around Thursday, January 11th.
Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
