More Showers and a Cold Storm This Weekend

Another fast-moving round of showers will impact the northern Alps on Thursday. A cold, strong storm remains on track for the weekend. A quick follow-up round of showers is possible early next week, ahead of a strong upper-level low developing in the Atlantic west of France. This feature could bring an extended period of snow, especially in the western Alps.
