Season Recap

The 2022-2023 ski season was well-above average for Colorado thanks to a consistent train of storms and cold temperatures for southern and western Colorado.

Even though the ski resorts along I-70 only caught a handful of double-digit powder days, the snow was consistent and most areas tracked right along their historical snowpack compared to the 30-year average.

Here's a look at the snowpack compared to the 30-year average (via nearby SNOTEL sites) and the season snowfall for each ski resort as of Monday, April 17, 2023:

Arapahoe Basin: 93% | 227"

Beaver Creek: 104% | 328"

Breckenridge: 85% | 286"

Copper Mountain: 90% | 284"

Keystone: 90% | 235"

Loveland: 87% | 253"

Vail: 102% | 345"

Winter Park: 94% | 353"

The following Base Depth vs. Average graph is updated daily on OpenSnow and available to All-Access subscribers for every ski resort in Colorado.

Simply click the "Snow Report" tab on any location screen.

And with that, we're wrapped up for the 2022-2023 winter season.

I hope that you have a wonderful spring, summer, and fall, and I look forward to seeing you back here when the I-70 Daily Snow resumes on November 1, 2023.

Thank you so much again for your continued support of OpenSnow!
