Fresh snow to ski/ride, more snow in the forecast for Christmas and this week
Summary
Merry Christmas everyone! Most Idaho ski resorts received fresh snow overnight on Monday, and there's more snow in the forecast for today and Christmas Day. At some Idaho resorts, snowflakes are in the forecast all week. Silver Mountain got 6 inches overnight, and Schweitzer and Lookout Pass got several inches on top of fluffy bases. Bogus Basin, Tamarack and Brundage got 3 inches of new overnight, with 2-4 inches of more snow in the forecast. Southern-tier resorts like Pomerelle and Magic Mountain are expected to get 13-14 inches of new snow over the next 5 days.
