Forecast holding for big *pow* with 1-2 feet through Friday
Summary
The first wave of storms will begin to deliver new snow today and tonight (12/11), and Thursday the snow storms will come with a vengeance and dump snow for 24 hours throughout most of Idaho, and then begin tapering on Friday. The forecasts are holding for up 22-28 inches of snow at Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass and Schweitzer, while Brundage, Tamarack and Sun Valley could get at 8-16 inches of snow through Friday. Winter Storm Warnings in place statewide on Thursday. Bogus Basin may get a foot or more, and forecasts have been upgraded to show Pomerelle, Magic Mountain and Pebble Creek getting 6-17 of new. Bring it!
