Big snow coming for New Year's Eve, New Years Day

Summary

A new storm system coming into Idaho from the Northwest is packing a big powder punch for Idaho's ski slopes statewide, starting on Tuesday, New Year's Eve, and continuing through New Years Day and beyond. More than a foot of snow is forecast across the Northern Idaho Panhandle and at Brundage Mountain, while Pomerelle, Magic Mountain and Pebble Creek could get a foot of new snow out of that system, and Bogus Basin, Tamarack Resort and Sun Valley all should get 5-10 inches of new snow. Skies should be clear to partly sunny or foggy across Idaho on Monday with a high in the low 20s.
