Big storm descends on Idaho New Year's Eve, New Years Day

Summary

If you're a devoted skier/rider, New Year's Eve is a time for special wishes for the New Year! And the hard-cores are wishing for more snow! Well, here it comes! A major two-day snow storm event is descending on Idaho beginning today, New Year's Eve, at Northern Idaho resorts, Brundage Mountain and Tamarack Resort, and it'll hit the rest of Southern Idaho and Central Idaho resorts on Tuesday night/Wednesday. Up to 19-25 inches are forecast to fall at Schweitzer Mountain, Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass, 21 inches at Pomerelle, 17 inches at Brundage Mountain, 12 inches at Bogus Basin, 13 inches at Pebble Creek, 10 inches at Tamarack Resort and Magic Mountain, and 6 inches at Sun Valley. Woo-hoo! A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Bundle up! Windy conditions are forecast to occur as the storm blast moves through.
