Snow Friday, Sunday and beyond in Idaho

Summary

A subtropical storm pattern continues to bring precipitation to Idaho, but the storm is on the warm side, so it's bringing a mix of rain and snow at North Idaho resorts on Friday morning, then it will change to all snow this afternoon. About 2-4 inches of new snow are forecast for North Idaho resorts on Friday, as well as Brundage Mountain and Tamarack, where snow levels are 5,250-5,500 feet. Bogus Basin and Pebble Creek are projected to get 1-3 inches out of the storm cycle on Friday, and Pomerelle 2-4 inches. A brief lull will occur on Saturday, with sunshine appearing at Sun Valley, Pomerelle and Pebble Creek. And then another wave of snow storms will hit Idaho statewide on Sunday, with 2-5 inches forecast to fall during the day. The storms continue on Sunday night/Monday and into next week, bringing more snow daily.
