Idaho Daily Snow
By Steve Stuebner, Forecaster Posted 4 years ago January 27, 2020
Light snow Monday, fresh powder coming Tuesday
Summary
Light snow is forecast on Monday in many locations statewide, with skiers/riders carving turns on top of 5-6 inches of fresh powder that fell over the last 24 hours. Temperatures cooled down to the 20s overnight. The next wave of snow storms comes in Monday night and Tuesday, packing a pretty good punch at Schweitzer, Silver and Lookout, with 6-17 inches of new snow forecast at those areas, while Brundage could get 5-11, Tamarack 4-8 inches and Bogus Basin 3-6 inches out of that storm cycle. Temperatures will remain cold for good snow. There will be a break between storms on Wednesday with some sunshine appearing in places, and then a medium chance of more snow later in the week. Slightly warmer temperatures are forecast later in the week.
