More *pow* coming to Idaho ski areas Thursday

Summary

The atmospheric river system is bringing lots of new snow to Idaho, and the resorts in the bull's eye are getting hit with substantial snow. Brundage Mountain got hammered with 10 inches overnight, 17 inches in the last 24 hours, and 7-15 inches are coming today and tonight. Bring your snorkel! Tamarack had 6 inches overnight, and more snow expected today. Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass had 3 inches overnight at the base, and 8-18 inches of new snow are forecast today and tonight, while Schweitzer Mountain is forecast to get 2-5 inches by Friday morning. Temperatures are staying cool at night in most locations through this storm cycle, creating excellent conditions for good-quality snow. Outside the direct path of the storm system, most ski areas in Idaho will get light snow on Thursday-Friday, and then another storm comes through Friday night before sunshine emerges on Sunday.
