Summary One wimpy storm down, 2 bonus rounds to go. Idaho’s mountains are poised for another FOOT or two of snow through this weekend. Early next week it will taper off with a few refills before another ridge of high pressure builds over the western U.S. with inversions setting in. That means now is the time to get out there and enjoy the plethora of activities that are scheduled in your favorite mountain towns. Winter Carnival, Nordic Festival, Films galore – get out of the valley rain and enjoy the new snow.
