Idaho Daily Snow
By Coleen Haskell, Meteorologist Posted 7 years ago February 8, 2017
Soppin’ Wet
Summary
This will be the 9th consecutive day with significant snow in the Idaho mountains and it’s not going to end until Saturday morning. That is good news and bad because copious moisture will also be accompanied by unseasonably warm temperatures below 7,000 feet. For high elevations in the Boise, Central, Sawtooth, and Smoky Mountains we are expecting a deluge of heavy wet snow tonight and Thursday tapering off Friday and Saturday. We’ll be wringing out our bibs to dry for several days before the next snow event moves in from the Pacific Coast.
