Pattern Change on Track Beginning January 6th

Summary

We will remain in a dry spell as we head into the New Year, but confidence is increasing that the end is in sight. From Dec 31 to Jan 5, we will see a cooling trend with dry conditions & occasional cloudy periods. High pressure will break down late in the week, opening the door to a storm around Jan 6th-7th (light/mod snow currently anticipated), with additional storms possible thereafter.
