Update

Our next round of snow will not arrive until Thursday night. For Tuesday, a weak inversion layer will continue to hang across the valley and bring foggy/cloudy conditions to the lower half of the mountain and sunny skies and warmer temperatures to the upper mountain.

We will then have a weak system slide across the region on Tuesday night, which should help clear out the inversion. Wednesday and Thursday will remain mild and dry, with mid-mountain temps in the low 30s.

Our full attention remains locked on Thursday night through Friday for our first of two rounds of snow for the next seven days. Mild, southwesterly flow will kick off the storm and keep snow levels near and above the Teton Village through Friday morning. Wet and heavy snow will fall through Friday afternoon before much colder air arrives and essentially shuts off any remaining accumulations into Friday night.

In total, look for 3-6 inches from Thursday night through Friday, with Friday afternoon and Saturday morning being the best time to catch soft turns.

Mixed showers and temperatures in the teens to single-digits will be the story over the weekend. We'll then shift to Sunday night through mid-next week for a good-looking pattern to develop over the northern Rockies. We could receive snow every day next week so wax your skis and boards this week and get ready for a return to POW town!
