Mammoth Daily Snow

By Howard Sheckter, Forecaster Posted 8 years ago December 27, 2016
GREAT WEATHER CONTINUES, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF "PLATINUM POWDER" IN THE FORECAST
Summary
The last few days have been just about as good as it gets in the Mammoth area. Clear skies, moderate winds and plenty of powder and packed powder to be had by all. The mountain is covered with "ego snow", and there is nothing in sight to change that. New Years weekend may get a fresh layer of powder, and in the long range, Howard is looking at the possibility of some "Platinum Powder". That's 15:1 snow to liquid ratios. Nice dry fluff.
