Snow in the Higher Terrain with a Major Storm by the End of the Week

Summary

Another weak storm system approaches the region bringing light snow and rain showers to parts of the Mid-Atlantic Monday evening into Tuesday. Lake-effect snow showers develop Monday evening that could produce moderate snow accumulations throughout the western and northern Mid-Atlantic. This system exits Tuesday with a major storm system affecting the Mid-Atlantic Thursday into Friday.
