Lake-Effect Machine Slows Down

Summary

Big snow totals have fallen in the past few days from the lake-effect machine. Snow showers will dissipate during the day Wednesday as the next weak storm system moves to the north. Scattered light snow showers return Thursday morning and continue until Saturday in the northern and western Mid-Atlantic. The coldest air of the season arrives for the weekend and stays for much of next week.
