Storm Slides South with Scattered Snow on Thursday

Summary

A weak storm brings light snow of 1-4 inches to the southern Mid-Atlantic and NC on Wednesday. Backside cold air and northwest flow will develop snow showers throughout the Appalachian Mountains from Wednesday night through Thursday. Snow accumulation will vary due to localized snow showers with 1-10 inches. Friday will dry out with a mostly dry and partly clear weekend.
