Westside Snow and Warming Temps

Summary

As of Wednesday morning (1/12), 24-hour reported new snow totals of 9” at Turner Mountain, 7” Lookout Pass, 6” Whitefish, and 2” Blacktail and Lost Trail Pass. Better than expected and courtesy of a slight dip in the track of a moist BC storm system. That same warm and moist air will bring another 1-2” Wednesday (above 5500’) before clearing out as high-pressure rebuilds into all of Montana.
