Alberta Clipper Rides East of the Divide

Summary

High-pressure off the BC Coast continues to push storm systems into Northern BC and Alberta. Montana is better off than most as it sits on the easternmost fringe of the high-pressure ridge allowing a storm to ride down the ridge from Alberta Thursday night into Friday bringing 1 – 3” for north locations like Showdown and Teton Pass, with 7” to the east at Red Lodge. Dryness returns this weekend.
