Record Heat / Snow for Tuesday

Summary

Near record warmth will be in store for the Northern Rockies on Sunday. The high-pressure ridge that is the cause of the warmth will break down west to east by Monday afternoon as a cold front brings rain showers and thunderstorms to most mountain locations. Behind the cold front, resorts east of the Divide will see a changeover to snow on Tuesday morning with accumulations of 2 – 4”.
