Midweek Storm in Store for the Central & Southern Half of the State

Summary

A cold-front is expected to stall over Central/SW Montana on Tues just in time to meet up with a moist SW flow Tues night creating periods of heavy snow possibly lasting through Weds evening. Big Sky, Lost Trail, Showdown, Snowbowl, Discovery, and Bridger could see storm totals of 5” to 12” through Weds night. A ridge of high-pressure takes over Thurs lasting thru the weekend.
