Snow Returns Wednesday & Thursday North of I-90

Summary

Sub-tropical moisture will invade NW MT on Weds morning bringing snow above 5000’. A Canadian cold front will then push north to south Weds afternoon into Weds night lowering snow levels and bringing moderate snowfall in a line from Lookout Pass to Whitefish to Glacier NP. Generally, 3 – 6” above 5000’ are possible by Thurs morning at these locations. A ridge returns dry skies for Fri and Sat.
