Big State, Little Storms

Summary

Wednesday’s little storm brought about 6” to the 6800’ summit of Big Mountain (Whitefish), and 5” at the top of Lookout. I checked nearby SNOTEL sites at Snowbowl, Blacktail, Turner, and Teton Pass, and all registered with 2 - 3” snowfall since Wednesday morning. Everybody else got skunked. Our next storm for late Saturday into Sunday is now trending even smaller. Ridging returns early next week.
