Until New Year’s Day – Not Too Much Happening
Summary
The same old thing, a high-pressure ridge dominating the upper atmosphere for the next 5 days. A light shortwave moves over the ridge on Tuesday bringing cloudy skies and widespread flurries, with maybe a skiff to 2” possible at Lookout south to Lost Trail. The demon ridge of high-pressure re-strengthens afterward but is favored to weaken by 12/31, hopefully bringing a snowy start to 2024.
