A (very) Little New Snow for the New Year
Summary
A moisture-starved NY’s Eve shortwave disturbance brought some trace accumulations of 2” to Whitefish, and 1” to Lookout Pass into NY’s AM. Benign daily mixes of sun and clouds and slightly cooler temps Tuesday through Thursday under a dry high-pressure regime. An upper-level trough of low-pressure is still on for a regime change to a much preferred snowier one by Friday and through the weekend.
