Active Week Ahead, Especially Across SW Montana

Summary

A broad trough of low-pressure will continue to bring an active southerly flow of weak disturbances into the Northern Rockies into midweek. A colder and juicier impulse arrives via this same upper trough on Wednesday that looks to throw waves of snowfall into SW MT through Friday morning. Big Sky looks to be best positioned for 6 to 10” Weds – Fri. Most locations south of I-90 see up to 7”.
