Cyclonic Roller Coaster

Summary

A tightly wound bomb cyclone off the PNW coast will direct pulses of a sub-tropical Atmospheric River into our region Weds – Fri. While rain is likely below 7000’ for most, cold air across NW Montana could bring around a foot above 5000’ at Whitefish. This strong Pacific storm moves inland Sat, drawing colder air with more widespread snowfall across the state through Sun.
