Montana Daily Snow

By Bob Ambrose, Forecaster Posted 3 months ago December 3, 2024
We Got High Pressure! / Snow Possible this Weekend
Summary
A ridge of high-pressure presides over the Northern Rockies through Thurs, bringing pleasant days and above seasonal temps. A weak system on Thurs PM weakens the ridge, allowing a stronger Pacific storm to enter on Fri PM into Sat. This storm has a warmer airmass, so snow levels are a concern for Western Montana. A cold front on Sat PM into Sun will drop snow levels, and intensify snow for SW MT.
