Montana Daily Snow

Snowier Pattern Returns but will it stick around?
Summary
After almost 2 weeks of high-pressure dominance we finally have a system strong enough to change things in a snowier way around the Northern Rockies. A cold front with an associated upper level wave will trigger snow bands for today into Thursday morning across most of the state’s mountain regions. This front will move across Montana from the North in a southeasterly track with the southern mountains east of the Divide – most notably Red Lodge Mountain – receiving the brunt of the storm. It’s not the mega-storm we all hoped for to kickstart the season but it may help change the pattern to a snowier one.
