Montana Daily Snow
By Bob Ambrose, Forecaster Posted 7 years ago March 4, 2017
March Powder to continue for the West with decent leftovers for the East siders Sunday
Summary
Montana’s been a great place to be for a powder skier over the last week and it looks to stay that way for the coming one as well. Northwest Montana has been the powder epicenter of the USA with Whitefish picking up 5 and a half feet in the last 7 days. For the next 24 hours a southwest flow will bring warmer temps and wetter snow to all areas West of the Divide. East of the Divide will see snow but just not as much. Saturday night and Sunday will see a cold front advance from the northwest in a southeasterly direction giving both sides of the Divide a good chance of some moderate (and drier) snow in the 4-8” range. Unsettled weather continues into next week.
