Great Conditions shaping up for one of the last weekends of the Ski Season!

Summary

The 1-2 combination of a moist zonal flow followed by a large and colder breakoff low came through with some decent accumulations across the Treasure State over the last 48 hours. As usual, Whitefish led the way with 9”, Snowbowl and Lost Trail 8”, Red Lodge and Big Sky 7”, Bridger Bowl 6”, and Discovery, Showdown, Lookout and Great Divide at 3”. Cold wintry snow conditions (powder generally) with partially clearing skies will prevail today and Saturday morning before higher temps return the snow surfaces to more spring-like in the afternoon on Saturday. Another Pacific system affects both regions Saturday night into Monday.
