Some snow, some rain on the way
Summary
Following a mostly cloudy day today with temperatures in the low-mid 40s, a low pressure system will traverse New England tonight and Wednesday, bringing mixed precipitation. Precipitation is expected to begin as snow this evening, with accumulations of 1-3” possible (specifically for resorts in northern New England). Rain will dominate for Wednesday, before precipitation turns back over to light snow in the mountains overnight. Thursday will be cold and clear before another low pressure system arrives on Friday, bringing with it the possibility for more snow.
