Game time - snow Friday through Saturday

Summary

Holiday storm #2 is upon us on Friday morning and already dropped 1 to 2 inches at many mountains overnight Thursday. Snow will last Friday through Saturday. Look for storm totals of 6 to 15+ inches in the northern mountains and 4 to 8+ inches in the central and southern mountains. Most of this snow will fall Friday and Friday night. Expect a full-on storm ski day Friday with periods of heavy snow and wind gusts 30 to 50mph. Friday afternoon and Saturday morning offer the best chance for moderate to high-end powder. Sunday morning a wildcard for back-to-back powder depending on how late snow lasts Saturday and on terrain closures/openings from Fri-Sat to Sunday. Sunday through Tuesday will be dry and very cold. Still a small chance we will see a holiday storm #3 sometime between Dec. 31 to Jan. 2, but any snowfall is expected to be on the low-end.
